CHARISMATIC entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson will visit Adelaide in May to speak with local businesswomen.
The UK founder and chairman of the Virgin Group of companies will speak at a Business Chicks breakfast on May 8. Sir Richard’s previous speaking engagements for Business Chicks in Melbourne and Sydney sold out in 24 hours.
Business Chicks chief executive Emma Isaacs said businesswomen, and men, could look forward to a “no holds barred” address.
“(Sir Richard) will give a personal account of his business challenges and achievements,” she said. “He is very generous with sharing the stories that have made him successful and have made him who he is. It is no holds barred.”
She said it was a once in a lifetime event. “You’ll be privy to the behind-the-scenes challenges, crisis points and triumphs in the personal journey of a visionary who has achieved phenomenal success,” she said.
It’s not Sir Richard’s first visit to Adelaide – he was here on whirlwind tour back in 2003.
There are about 1300 tickets available for the event, at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Tickets range in price from $189 to $229, or tables of 10 are $1890.
