A busy cafe in Lakemba was attacked in a drive-by shooting just before midnight.

Half a dozen patrons and staff were at Big Sahara Cafe on Haldon Street in Lakemba when the shooting occurred.

Police do not know whether it was a targeted attack. The walls and windows are riddled with bullet holes. Thankfully, no one was injured.

No one has been arrested.
