A bus has been delicately retrieved from the edge of an overpass above the Logan Motorway on Brisbane’s southern outskirts.

The bus ran off Beaudesert Road at Drewvale just before 9:00am (AEST).

The driver was the only person on board and she was taken to the Logan Hospital suffering from shock.

The bus wiped out a large sign and ended up on the walkway and verge of the overpass before being dragged onto the road by a tow truck.
