Clive Palmer has purchased Adolf Hitler’s bulletproof Mercedes-Benz for a museum he wants to build on the Gold Coast.
Palmer purchased the Mercedes from an unnamed Russian billionaire, from where it has been shipped to a secret location in Queensland. Reports are that Palmer is assembling the greatest collection of vintage cars on the planet.

After two years of negotiations, billionaire mining magnate Clive Palmer has secured Adolf Hitler’s bulletproof Mercedes-Benz for a museum he wants to build on the Gold Coast.
The Mercedes-Benz 770 Grosser Offener Tourenwagen was purchased from an unnamed Russian billionaire and features bulletproof glass and armoured panelling.
The car was originally seized in France by the US military at the end of World War II and has had a number of owners before ending up in Palmer’s possession.
The businessman also purchased a 1929 Rolls-Royce owned by King Edward VIII.
The green and black car, believed to have cost more than $200,000, was secretly shipped from London to Queensland to be added to Palmer’s collection of vintage cars worth hundreds of millions.
The luxury vehicle is being kept at a high-security location where the billionaire, who recently made headlines for being unvaccinated and in hospital with COVID-like symptoms, is reportedly assembling the greatest collection of vintage cars on the planet.
Clive Palmer and his wife were both rushed to hospital with COVID symptoms on Thursday.
Three ambulances were reportedly called to the couple’s Paradise Point home in Queensland.
Mr Palmer, 67, and wife Annastacia were taken to Pindara Private Hospital.
The mining magnate is the United Australia Party candidate for the Senate in Queensland, with his party seeking seats in the upper and lower houses at the upcoming federal election.
